Designed for measuring the intensity of the total vector of the Earth’s

magnetic field to more precisely locate shallow object

DESCRIPTION

PMG-1 Proton Gradiometer is a portable microprocessor based magnetometer with a resolution of 0.1 nT / gamma ) by the measurement of frequency free precession of protons

The microprocessor controls measurements , provide digital signal filtering , storage of readings and times of measurements , testing of signal quality and battery voltage

SINGLE MODE

The PMG-1 provide measurement of total-field vector by one sensor in profile survey application .

 

GRAD MODE

In this mode the PMG-1 uses two spaced sensors simultaneously measure total-vector field and calculated the gradient ( horizontal and vertical ) between sensors .

 

AUTO MODE

The PMG-1 can be used as a base station with selectable sample rates and stored readings

Data stored is fully automated with up to 8.500 readings and identifiers in the SINGLE/GRAD operations or 17.000 readings in the base station operation .

In survey application actual position co-ordinates are recorded either by automated incrementation or by operator entry .
